As we head into a busy spring and summer travel season, the Build OMA Terminal Modernization Program continues to take shape. Travelers moving through OMA today will begin to see how the terminal is evolving from an active construction site into a modern, more connected travel experience.

In our latest video, the Omaha Airport Authority team shares what’s coming together across the terminal, including:

Central Pavilion glass exterior complete: The new glass façade along the front drive is now in place, marking a major visual milestone and allowing interior buildouts like concessions to begin.
Baggage system progress continues: Work is advancing on the new system that will streamline how inbound and outbound baggage is moved throughout the terminal, improving efficiency throughout the baggage handling process.
Ticketing area finishes beginning: Ceiling installation and terrazzo flooring are coming next, helping shape a brighter and more welcoming first impression of the new OMA terminal.
New concourse taking form: Gate areas are starting to look more complete, with wall tile, wood ceiling elements and other interior features being installed.
South Concourse updates underway: Renovations continue while concessions temporarily shift locations. All gates remain open, with signage and staff available to guide travelers.
