The Build OMA Terminal Modernization Program continues to move forward, and fast. With summer travel in full swing, some big changes are already visible. First, demolition of the old Central Terminal is now complete, clearing space for the future Central Pavilion. Crews are already laying the foundation and installing infrastructure for what will become the new entrance to a more unified, modern terminal.
To help travelers navigate the changes, look for Find Your Way at OMA signage throughout the terminal. Scan the QR code with your phone to open an interactive map that shows your location and the fastest route to your destination.
- Glass canopy now complete: The new canopy over Terminal Drive is fully installed, with lighting and a speaker system for outdoor announcements.
- Doors 2 and 4 reopening soon: These terminal entrances are set to reopen later this year, improving flow and offering a preview of the new design.
- Central Pavilion and Unified Concourse construction: Interior framing and infrastructure are going in, including glass on the east side and systems for power, data, and climate control.
Pick-up and drop-off remain in the South Garage while this work continues. Thanks for your patience and support as we keep building toward a better OMA. The full project remains on track for completion in 2028.
